How do I order?

Every specsdeals deal is available at any specsdeals partner optician. Our opticians take time for the consultation in store, so we recommend booking an appointment online in advance to avoid waiting – you can also simply visit a partner optician during its opening hours.

Can I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

Yes. You can reschedule your appointment via the confirmation e-mail you received when you booked. Alternatively, contact the partner optician directly – they will be happy to help with anything to do with your appointment.

Can I choose my frame online?

Accepted Answer

No. Our partner opticians carry a large selection of frames from our own collections; prices range from £19 to £140 and the selection varies by optician, so the collections cannot be viewed online. You choose your frame in store, with advice and fitting included.

How long does delivery take?

Your glasses are made to your individual prescription in our own production using the latest technology and pass a strict quality check. Delivery therefore takes between 12 and 18 working days. Your optician will let you know as soon as your glasses are ready for collection.

Question 6

Can I cancel an order?

Because every pair is made to your individual prescription, an order cannot be cancelled once it has been placed.

How do I receive my invoice?

You receive your invoice from specsdeals by e-mail. If you need a copy, ask your partner optician. If a voucher was not deducted from your invoice, please contact your partner optician directly. If you need an itemised invoice for your insurer or employer, this is only possible with the original invoice – e-mail info@specsdeals.co.uk and we will help.

How long is the payment link valid?

The payment link is valid for 14 days after you place your order. If you need help with the payment, speak to a member of staff at your partner optician.

Question 9

How do I redeem a voucher?

Accepted Answer

Present your voucher to the optician at your appointment. The voucher is deducted directly by the optician when you place your order. It cannot be credited afterwards, and it cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

I have received a payment reminder although I have paid.

What is the satisfaction guarantee?

We vouch for the quality of our glasses. Independently of your statutory rights, we give you a satisfaction guarantee with a one-time exchange right: within 12 weeks of the invoice date for specsdeals products, and within the first 60 days for STEINER-Vision products.

What does the glasses insurance cover?

Accepted Answer

Every pair of our glasses – except the specsdeals Balance range (£19/£59) – automatically comes with insurance against a change in prescription of 0.50 dioptres or more within the first 12 months from the date of purchase. In the event of a claim the insurance covers 75 % of the invoice amount of the new order; you pay 25 %. This is a one-off claim. With STEINER-Vision lenses you get 24 months' cover: 100 % of the new order for a prescription change of 0.50 dioptres or more, and 75 % (25 % payable) for accidental damage. One-off claim as well. To make a claim, contact your optician. The full insurance conditions are in the Terms and Conditions.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter or have my data deleted?
